JEFF STEIN
Jeffrey is a native New Yorker with a passion for classic golf course architecture. Having grown up around the great golf courses of Westchester and Long Island he has taken an interest in finding and studying the best golf courses around the world from a very young age.
An extremely well traveled golfer, Jeffrey has visited and built golf courses on four continents, specifically seeking out the best links golf in North America, Australia, and Scotland.
After graduating from Brandeis University in 2008 with a Bachelors degree in Economics, he was hired as a construction intern at the Old Macdonald Golf Links in Bandon, Oregon.
A self proclaimed "bunker specialist," Jeffrey has developed a naturalistic style inspired by his travels to unique golf sites in New Zealand, Tasmania, and the Netherlands. Since his introduction into golf architecture Jeffrey has continued to learn from some of the best names in the business including Doak, Coore, and Hanse.
In 2013, he branched out into the European market to work with Frank on the restoration of the Broadstone Golf Club. He and Frank continue to seek more opportunities to work together and look forward to many successful collaborations
